Well, while I was and currently am waiting on a particular and vital e-mail, I decided to get back on dA. Reflecting back on my photos, I have realized just how much of a noob I was. I still am a noob because I do not ever have the time to take photos, and since I am under such large amounts of stress so as to produce an irritating skin rash known as shingles, I do not find the beauty in anything anymore. It's depressing- I know, but it is true. The demands of life are great, and it is hard to take a step back and look at the world for what it truly is and not what society makes it out to be. I am very disappointed in myself, for I lost myself in the journey of higher education and career goals. After talking to some of my very respected professors, I have come to the conclusion that I need to focus on not ambition, but on myself and wellbeing. Thus, after reflecting, I want to continue to photograph what I find beautiful and inspiring, but mind you, these will not be good. It's a journey of mastery, and it may take many a year.
